Committee on Private Defectives

Private defectives seem to be an endangered species. To this end, they ought to be tagged and licensed.

Signatories of the Constitution of the United States of Roadkills-R-Us shall be deemed tagged, regardless of the presence of any physical tag, per se.

All other Private Defectives must be tagged.

The tagging system shall utilize a set of fees which will pay for all aspects of the tagging system. The following fees are recommended:

The tag shall be constructed of a blend of highly radioactive materials and enough steel to set off even the most jaded airport metal detector. The minimum mass of the tag shall be 5 kilograms. The tag shall be applied anywhere on the body of the taggee by the tagger, at the tagger's sole discretion. The tagger must be a licensed, tagged, Private Defective.

Prior to being tagged as a Private Defective, an individual must first be licensed as a Private Defective.

Signatories of the Constitution of the United States of Roadkills-R-Us shall be licensed for free, and in perpetuity, under a grandfather (or grandmother, if applicable) clause, providing said signatory shall have been a practicing Private Defective at the time of signing said Constitution.

All others wishing to practice as Private Defectives must be licensed.

The licensing system shall utilize a set of fees which will pay for all aspects of the licensing system. The following fees are recommended:
