Photos Kelly Gerling's Leonids Meteor—Close Up View

Leonids Meteor—Here is a close up view of a meteor in Leo, on November 19th 2002 at about 4:30 a.m. Central Time. I left the shutter open 30 seconds at a time and pointed the camera at Leo, hoping for a large meteor. I got this one. It was a bit lucky. I took the photo with 1000 speed 35 mm film in a Pentax K1000 camera. Latitude/Longitude 39.137113 / -95.00210 Altitude 268.9912414550781 meters The date form below doesn't allow for meteors taken prior to 2004, so I set it for 2004. The actual date is November 19th, 2002.
