I also saw one around 10 pm on May 11 . I was at work outside when i saw it of course no one else at work believed me.
i Pulled out my phone to rrecord it and of course by that time it was gone. It was going from East to West.It was really neat never seen anything like that before.

Roberta, by abundant do you mean many meteors or one bright one?

May11 2012at aprox. 10pm an abundant meteor shower took place in the
South/South West area of the sky..Fabulous!!!

I don’t know anything about meteors but I just saw a large greenish, yellow light streak by my house. Any chance there is other info. on this? I live in MN.

I saw something large and silver going SE to NW at approximately 0555 hours on the morning of May 10, 2012. It was slower than most meteors I have seen in the past. Anyone else see it?

Hi, I saw 2 meteors this morning around 5am. There were so close to the moon, as the moon was setting, the tail on the meteor was being sucked up towards the moon. (I think from the magnetic properties of the moon?) It was soooo cool.

I live in California in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I saw the moon with the meteors in the western sky. (Like over the Pacific Ocean.) AWESOME!!!!!!!
